Prominent Artists Showcased at Harbor History Musuem

See a preview from April 23-May 6th

You are invited to SPLASH, a preview art show at the Harbor History Museum's lobby featuring works of art from the Northwest's most accomplished artists together for the first time in Gig Harbor, opening April 23rd and on display to the public until May 6th, followed by the SPLASH art auction on May 15th.

This collection will show some of the Northwests most accomplished artists whose works encompass a wide range of visual sculptural and glass art including Jill Nordfors Clark who uses hog gut as a threadlike substance in combination with twigs and other natural materials; Tom Torrens who creates functional art such as fountains and bird baths using recycled materials and found objects; and renowned gig Harbor based textile artist Barbara Lee Smith whose method of fusing layer upon layer of synthetic fabric and using the stitch as a drawing tool make her art some of the most unique.

Don't miss this wonderful show.  Opening April 23rd, at the Harbor History Museum, 4121 Harborview Drive, Gig Harbor.  Learn more at www.splashartauction.org
