Their press release on the topic reminds us what the world was like 30 years ago; the Bee Gee's were "Staying Alive", the Rubik Cube was all the rage and the AMC Pacer came off the assembly line. Well, with the exception of the Rubik Cube, most things don't usually last thirty years. So it is a great cause of celebration for the Gig Harbor Chamber of Commerce.
Like many of us battling the "aging" process, the Gig Harbor Chamber is marking their 30th year with a little "facelift". A new logo is just one of the fresh new elements you will see. The board of directors is looking to the future and re-dedicating and re-focusing their effort to be a strong voice for the Gig Harbor business community and focus on portraying the values and goals of its members as it reflects more professionalism and greater relevance to the community.
As a partner with the City of Gig Harbor, our Chamber will continue to advocate for the City and businesses and residents, acting as a unifying voice. We salute them in their 30th year and look forward to bigger and better things, as we do for our entire community.

Thirty years is a long time to be assisting local businesses, through good times and bad.
