NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Notice is hereby given that the City of Gig Harbor City Council is holding a public hearing on Monday July 27, 2015 as outlined below. You are invited to provide comment at the hearing or in writing as outlined in this notice.

2015 Comprehensive Plan Periodic Review (Gig Harbor 2030):

The City Council is considering comprehensive plan amendments addressing edits to the draft Land Use, Housing, Transportation, Capital Facilities Elements and additional maps proposed to the appendix since the comment period closing on June 1st 2015. These edits are in response to the comment letter received from the Puget Sound Regional Council dated May 28, 2015, and ensure consistency with VISION 2040, Washington State Growth Management Act, and the Countywide Planning Policies.

PUBLIC HEARING: Monday July 27th, 2015 at 5:30pm during the regularly scheduled council meeting.

Commenting:

All persons will have an opportunity to present their oral comments at the public hearing. Those wishing to submit written comments may do so at the open house, public hearing or by submitting them to the Planning Department at the address below, or by e-mail at sehmell@cityofgigharbor.net or by facsimile at (253) 858-6408. All written comments must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. on Monday July 27, 2015.

Information on the proposed amendments will be available for public review, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, at the Planning Department, located at 3510 Grandview Street in Gig Harbor, 253-851-6170, or at GigHarborPlanning.com.
