Eddon House Tree Removal

Beginning Monday, February 8, 2016, the City will begin removing the tree at the Eddon residence due to recently found horizontal cracks during their routine park inspections.  

This tree has been closely observed since 2013 when concerns arose regarding the viability of the tree.  These 2013 concerns resulted in limited mitigation around the tree.  However, with the appearance of the two horizontal cracks, Staff is preparing to remove the tree altogether and are scheduling the use of a crane and other equipment to begin removing the tree early next week.  

The Eddon deck and pier have been cordoned off from public access.
