Notice is hereby given that the City of Gig Harbor Planning Commission will not be meeting on the regularly scheduled meeting date of Thursday April 3, 2003.

Notice is hereby given that the City of Gig Harbor Planning Commission will hold a public hearing beginning at 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, April 17, 2003 in the Council Chambers, Gig Harbor Civic Center – 3510 Grandview Street. The purpose of this public hearing will be to accept testimony on a draft Ordinance relating to subdivisions of property, amending the subdivision code to exclude references to processing procedures and decision makers; to clarify approval criteria for short, preliminary and final plats; to re-arrange applicable sections; to correct typographical errors and to include appropriate references to code requirements in numerous sections of the Gig Harbor Municipal Code.

At the conclusion of the public hearing, the Planning Commission may finalize their recommendation to the City Council on this matter.
